Location

Hangzhou is located on China's Y8ngtze River Delta, 15Ohm southeast of Shanghai. As the second largest city in the East China Economic Circle (ECEC), next to Shanghai, Hangzhou enjoys a number of advantages including a strong and vibrant economy, a superior geographical location and easy accessibility. Hangzhou as the Most Important Manufacturing Base and Logistics Hub

The  Hallgzhou Linping Industrial Area (HLIA) has been designated by the Hangzhou Municipal Government as one of three economic powerhouses of the region. Its location between Hangzhou and Shanghai helps HLIA play a key role in absorbing the diffusion from Shanghai.

Brief Introduction of Hangzhou

Hangzhou, the Capital City of Zhejiang Province, is one of China's most beautiful and historic cities and a leading tourist destination. As China is striding into the World, great changes have also occurred in Hangzhou. The people in Hangzhou take it as their striving object to construct a metropolis and build a new paradise. With an area of 3,O68 sq km arid a permanent residents of approximately 3.87 million,Hangzhou now is the second largest regional city in Yangtze Delta next to Shanghai. Hangzhou's economy has maintained double-digit growth for 12 successive years
and ranks in the third place in overall economic strength, amongst the provincial capitals of China. In 2OO2, Hangzhou saw a GDP of RMB 178 billion yuan, up 13.2% over the previous year; and local fiscal revenue of RMB25.7 billion yuan. The GDP per capita of Hangzhou exceeded USD3.400 for the first time in 2OO2.

As the city with the highest competitiveness in the field of environment, Hangzhou is the most promising city in China .Based on its advantages in the areas of talents, location, and investment environment, it has become the investment paradise in the Yangtze Delta. In 2OO1, the city was honored the title of the "Best Habitat Prize" by the United Nation. Once again, in Oct. 2OO2, the title of "International Garden City" was awarded to the city.

余杭風貌
