良渚文化

 　　余杭是中華文明曙光升起的地方，是距今 5300至 4000年的良渚文化的發祥地。余杭良渚文化遺址是實證中華5000年文明史規模最大、水準最高的遺址，是全人類共有珍貴歷史文化遺産，是世界級的文化品牌。良渚遺址出上的玉器、漆器、木器，其創作的理念和製作的工藝等都達到了世界同期最高水準；保留下來的古村落皇陵墓地、祭壇、土垣、大型建築遺址等多種遺存，被認為是良渚文化時期的政治、經濟、文化和宗教中心，是中華民族的瑰寶。1994年初，國務院將良渚遺址列入中國政府向聯合國組織推薦“世界遺産名錄”的預備清單。2000年，浙江省政府成立了良渚遺址申報“世界遺産名錄”領導小組，並建設良港國家遺址公園。
