BEIJING -- Following are the agendas for the fifth sessions of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Monday.
NPC:
-- At 9 a.m., NPC deputies will hold panel discussions about the report on the work of the Supreme People's Court, and the report on the work of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
-- At 10 a.m., Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China, the central bank, will give a press conference on the monetary policy and financial reforms at the press center for the two sessions.
-- At 3 p.m., NPC delegations will hold respective plenary meetings to deliberate the report on the work of the Supreme People's Court, and the report on the work of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
-- At 3 p.m., four NPC deputies who are entrepreneurs, will give a press conference on promoting real economy at the press center for the two sessions.
CPPCC:
-- At 9 a.m., members of the 11th CPPCC National Committee will hold panel discussions about the report on the work of the Supreme People's Court, and the report on the work of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
-- At 9 a.m., panel discussions will be open to journalists from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign countries at Beijing Conference Center.
-- At 10:30 a.m., chairman and vice chairpersons of CPPCC National Committee will hold a meeting to hear the general report on the panel discussions, and deliberate the documents to be submitted to the 17th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 11th CPPCC National Committee.
-- At 4 p.m., the 17th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 11th CPPCC National Committee will be held to:
1. approve the draft resolution on the work report of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee;
2. approve the draft report on how suggestions and proposals from the CPPCC National Committee members were handled;
3. approve the draft political resolution on the Fifth Session of the 11th CPPCC National Committee.
