BEIJING -- Presidium of the Fifth Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, held its third meeting on Tuesday.
Draft resolutions on the work report of the NPC Standing Committee, the work report of the Supreme People's Court and the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, will be forwarded to NPC delegations for deliberation, according to the Presidium meeting.
Draft decisions on deputy election for the 12th NPC and draft methods for the election of deputies to the 12th NPC from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, and on the amendment to the Criminal Procedure Law, will also be forwarded to NPC delegations.
Wu Bangguo, executive chairman of the NPC session's presidium, presided over the meeting.
National legislators submitted 489 motions to the annual session of the NPC, according to the meeting.
