The Ningbo UBPA Case Pavilion is the only rural pavilion in the World Expo Park. It showcases Tengtou, a village in China's Ningbo City, which is considered a successful example of an urbanized villages in China, because it strikes a balance between developing tourism and protecting the environment. The rice in the pavilion were planted before the opening of the Shanghai World Expo. A ceremony was held on Monday to celebrate the harvest of the 0.7 Mu (about 466 square meters) rice field.
