BEIJING -- To serve as a backdrop at the exhibition of "Dwelling in Fuchun Mountain", over one hundred of the best modern photographs of Fuchun Mountain and River in East China's Zhejiang Province have been set aside, and will be presented in Taiwan. Let's have a look at some of the selections.
The 104 photos have been picked from over one thousand entries. These works have focused their lens on either the picturesque landscape of the Fuchun Mountain and River, or local people's unspoiled daily lives.
A majority of the pictures were taken by amateur photographers who grew up in the area.
Wu Hao, amateur photographer, said, "I took the pictures on a recent visit to the Fuchun River. It was so beautiful and peaceful there, and I felt like time flashed back to 600 years ago when the painter Huang Gongwang lived there."
For the photographers, they just can't get enough of the charm of the landscape that had inspired one of the greatest paintings in Chinese history.
The exhibition in Taiwan is aimed to lure more Taiwan visitors to the Fuchun area in Zhejiang Province.
