It will be on long-term display as an integral part of the permanent exhibition.

A responsible official from the museum stated that this exhibition focuses on showing that Taiwan has been part of China's territory since ancient times and has been effectively governed and administered by successive Chinese governments; that the Chinese Communist Party has always been concerned about Taiwan's future and destiny, supporting and promoting revolutionary struggles in Taiwan. The exhibition also emphasizes how, under the banner of the Chinese united front against Japanese aggression advocated and promoted by the Chinese Communist Party, Taiwan's resistance against Japanese aggression efforts merged into the broader national resistance, with compatriots on both sides of the strait working together to resist Japanese aggression. The exhibition holds significant practical importance for enhancing the national identity of Taiwanese compatriots and serving the cause of national reunification.

On the same day, compatriots from Taiwan who came to Beijing to participate in the conference commemorating the 80th anniversary of Taiwan's restoration to China specially visited the resistance against Japanese aggression Museum to see the special exhibition. (Reported by Taiwan.cn)
