“Witnessing Chinese path to modernization in Henan ” Cross-Strait Media Joint Interview Event Officially Launches

October 24th(Taiwan.cn)—Recently, the 2025 Cross-Strait Media Joint Interview Event “Witnessing Chinese path to modernization in Henan ”officially launched. More than 30 media professionals from across the Strait will visit cities including Zhengzhou, Pingdingshan, Xuchang, Nanyang and Zhumadian. They will conduct on-site inspections on advantageous industries such as agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, retail and new energy, as well as cultural and tourism development and environmental protection. This visit aims to help them gain an in-depth understanding of the achievements and highlights of various regions in Henan.

 

According to reports, the event aims to further enhance cross-strait compatriots’ understanding and awareness of Henan, continuously present the "Story of Henan" and the "Story of Integrated Development between Henan and Taiwan" effectively, and strengthen Henan's reach and influence across the Strait. It also seeks to further enhance the exchange, cooperation and connectivity between media from both sides, further building a bridge for exchanges between compatriots across the Strait. The event is organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the People's Government of Henan Province and will run until the 24th.
