This tournament brings together two youth baseball teams from Taiwan and six from Jincheng, with nearly 200 players set to compete in group rankings and cross-elimination matches over three days. The event not only provided a competitive platform but also integrated the “Explore Shanxi” summer camp activity. Beyond the games, over 60 Taiwanese young players and their parents will embark on an in-depth visit to Jincheng's cultural landmarks, watch the live performance of the intangible cultural heritage “Striking Iron Flower,” explore ancient castle villages, savor local cuisine, and personally experience the historical and cultural heritage of the Sanjin region, gaining a deeper understanding of the new landscape of urban and rural development in Shanxi. This event harmoniously blends sports exchange with cultural experiences, creating a resonant fusion of both.
The summer camp for the Jin-Tai Youth Baseball Exchange Competition is jointly hosted by the Cross-Strait Cultural and Economic Exchange Association of Shanxi, the Taiwan Chinese Mini Baseball Association, and the 901 Cross-Strait Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance. It is jointly organized by the Taiwan Hong Kong Macao Affairs Service Center of Jincheng and the Baseball and Softball Association of Jincheng.
